Die Arbeit "Walking drunk in high shoes" besteht aus einer Fotografie und einem 47-minütigen Videoloop, die in Relation zueinander installiert werden. Die Fotografie zeigt eine Abbildung des Monoprints "Walking drunk in high shoes" von Tracey Emin aus dem Buch "Tracey Emin - Works 1963/2006". Im Video, das meine laufenden Beine in High Heels zeigt, betrinke ich mich im Laufe der 47 Minuten systematisch mit einer Flasche Wodka. Der Rhythmus des Auf- und Ablaufens wird mit sich leerender Flasche zunehmend unkontrollierter und endet am Boden.
The work "Walking drunk in high shoes" contains of a photography and a 47-minute videoloop, which are installed in relation to each other. The photography is showing the reproduction of the monoprint "Walking drunk in high shoes" by Tracey Emin out of the book "Tracey Emin - Works 1963/2006". In the video, that is showing my walking legs in high heels, I am systematically getting drunk on a bottle of vodka within the course of the 47 minutes. The rhythm of the up-and down walking line gets more and more uncontrolled as the bottle empties and ends on the floor.
